Jorvan Veiera - War-torn Iraq Coach

Less than two months ahead of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup finals Viera was named coach of war-torn Iraq. Incredibly, he led Iraq to the 2007 Asian Cup title, upsetting reigonal heavyweights Saudi Arabia 1-0 in the final. The goal was scored by captain Younis Mahmoud. He immediately confirmed he would not be staying on in the role, citing his unwillingness to deal with the stresses brought about by a lack of organizational support.

After his two-month contract with Iraq expired, Vieira has been linked to the vacant coaching position with the Korea Republic. Australia are also believed to be interested in his services, with the expected resignation of Graham Arnold after their Asian Cup failure.
This same man was the coach of Malaysian under 20 team a few years back and was sacked for "non-performing". So, was it because of the coach, the player or mentality ? What is wrong with Malaysian football ?.......
